Betty Jo Hutchins Ruch, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi (formerly of Greenville, MS), died Sunday, September 28, 2014, at her residence. She was born April 9, 1933 in Beauregard, MS in Copiah County. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1952, and then went on to graduate from The King’s Daughters’ School of Nursing in May of 1955. She worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement from Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville in 1995. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Tuesday, September 30 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Iuka Gospel Assembly Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. It will be officiated by Bro. Mark Baxter. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Steven Wade Ruch (Cheryl) of Tucson, AZ; 2 daughters – Theresa Louise Blackley (Earnest) of Melbourne, AR; and Janet Ann Boyles (Michael) of Iuka; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Sexton Hutchins and Georgia Ollian Stegall Hutchins; 4 sisters; and 7 brothers.
