Janie Helton Gonzalez, 68, of Glen, Mississippi, died Friday, September 26, 2014, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and always had a kind word to say. She enjoyed metal detecting, relic hunting, and rock hunting. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM Sunday, September 28 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, September 29, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. James Voyles and Bro. Jon Haimes. Interment will follow in Glendale Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Bo Nichols, Mike Burns, Buckie Barnett, Steve Barnett, Tommy Barnett, and David Barnett. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one son – Mark Gonzalez of Glen; and one brother – Donnie Helton of Glen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jewel Helton.
