Donnie Lee Edmondson, 62, of Dennis, Mississippi, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Edmondson was a member of Mt. Glory Missionary Baptist Church. He was a long-time truck driver, and was currently employed at the Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department where he was a dispatcher and former officer. He enjoyed reading and watching westerns on TV. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Neil Edmondson and Bro. Robbie Crane. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jason Borden, Benny Kay, Tracy Holman, Johnny Harber, Nash Starkey, Kent McClung, Michael Nunley, and Kim Dawson. The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Department will serve as honorary pallbearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Brenda White Edmondson of Dennis; one son, Shannon Edmondson (Heather) of Dennis; two grandchildren, Madison Lee Edmondson and Kenneth Drew Edmondson, both of Dennis; one brother, Neil Edmondson (Brenda) of Iuka; two sisters, Carolyn Southward (H. O.) of Iuka, and Dana Walker (Thomas) of Tupelo; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Edmondson of Tishomingo, mother-in-law, Jean White; and nine nieces and nephews, Bryan Southward, Jason Southward, Kristi Reece, Jamie Wallace, Heather Edmondson Kirk, Jason Borden, Channing Walker, Ethan Edmondson, and Caleb Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorlan and Jewel Page Edmondson; and a brother, Ronald D. Edmondson.
