Eddie Davis, 65, of Cordova, TN (formerly of Burnsville, MS), died Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his residence. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. He was an honest, hardworking, and loving person, and enjoyed golf in his spare time. Visitation is scheduled for 1 until 3 PM on Saturday, June 21 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Joe Jernigan. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mike Davis, Jerry Davis, Chris Davis, Kerry Davis, Mike Riley, Dexter Stanfield, Greg Blankenship, and Byron Davis. Honorary bearers will be Josh and Steven McCalmon. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Linda Davis of Cordova, TN; his father, Edward Davis of Burnsville, MS; 1 son – Kerry Davis (Tabitha) of Cordova, TN; 1 daughter – Jenny Riley (Mike) of Germantown, TN; 2 brothers – Jerry Davis (Sherry) of Nolansville, TN and Mike Davis (Jane) of Burnsville, MS; and 3 grandchildren – Mackenzie Riley, Daniel Davis, and Brady Riley. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Hale Davis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Gilead Cemetery Fund or to the Bellevue Baptist Church Love Offering.
