Betty Wynn Jones, 74, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Methodist Hospital - Germantown. She was a long time member of Iuka Baptist Church, where she supported and worked in Vacation Bible School for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, and was known as a great book keeper. Visitation is scheduled 5 until 9 PM on Sunday, May 11 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Iuka Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. It will be officiated by Bro. Stanley Magill. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lance Gaylon Berry, John Handy, Michael Jones, Gary Clark, Greg Enlow, and Eric Barnett. Honorary bearers will be Michael Rone, Ed Moore, and Courtney Prather. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 3 daughters – Darla Jones of Iuka; Rhonda McGee (Jay) of Olive Branch; and Glenda Berry (Lance) of Iuka; 1 brother – James “Ed” Wynn (Thelma) of Iuka; 1 sister-in-law – Elaine Wynn of Iuka; 5 grandchildren – Priscilla Prather Handy (John), Thomas Dill, Derek Dill, Lance Gaylon Berry, and Paige Wynn Dill; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gaylon Jones; her parents, Maude and Edward Wynn; her brother, Lowell Wynn; and her sister, Dorothy Wynn Lambert. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Prospect Cemetery Fund, or to the Iuka Baptist Church Vacation Bible School Fund.
