Rita Gail Johnson, 69, of Corinth, Mississippi (formerly of Iuka, MS), died Friday, May 09, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was a former supervisor at the Iuka Shirt Factory, and enjoyed watching NASCAR races. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Sunday, May 11 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Johnny Nunley. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Heath Johnson, Omer Adcock, Don Boggs, Mike Smith, Jeremy Johnson, and Jamie Dale Johnson. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Pete Johnson of Iuka and Johnny Johnson (Becky) of Burnsville; her father, Joe Callins of Marked Tree, AR; 1 sister – Jane Lambert of Michie, TN; 5 grandchildren – Ashely Spoon, Jana Robinson, Haley Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, and Jamie Dale Johnson; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Alvie “Goob” Johnson; her mother, Ruby Mask Jobe; her brother, Benny Callins; and her niece, Angela Renee McEwen.
