Harold Adams Davis, 79, of Southaven, MS (formerly of Iuka, MS), died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – East in Memphis, TN. He was a graduate of Northeast Community College, and Mississippi State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He was a member of Heartland Baptist Church in Southaven, and was the former owner and operator of Davis Insulation. Visitation is scheduled for 6 until 8 PM on Thursday, April 24 at Heartland Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. Another visitation will take place from 1 until 3 PM on Friday, April 25 at Harmony United Methodist Church in Iuka, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Harmony United Methodist Church in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Dan Compton. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Nell Dean Davis of Southaven, MS; 1 son – Byron Harold Davis (Janet) of Southaven, MS; 1 daughter – Judy Davis Malenky (Mike) of Southaven, MS; 1 brother – Edward Davis of Burnsville, MS; 4 grandchildren – Jen Pendergrast (John), Adams Michael Malenky, Julia Elaine Davis, and Kaleigh Caroline Davis; and 1 great grandson, Nolen Anthony Pendergrast; and several nephews, nieces, and special family friends He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lilla Davis. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harmony Cemetery Fund.
