Betty Elizabeth “Libby” Hamm, 57, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, February 28, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Hamm was of the Baptist faith. She was a caretaker of many, and enjoyed sewing, fishing, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 3:30 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Perry Murphy and Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joe Lambert, Ed Whitfield, Jim Wood, Michael Moore, Tyler Gattis, and Jason Bobo. Honorary pallbearers include Kyle Dawson and Wade Smith. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Reid Hamm, Jr. of Iuka; one son, Michael Gattis and wife, Chirel, of Tishomingo; three daughters, Amanda Walls, Amy Sanderson, and Jessica Crosby, all of Iuka; four brothers, Ralph, Jerry, Danny, and Anthony Lambert, all of Iuka; three sisters, Shirley Estes of Iuka, Lois DeGraw of Iuka, and Peggy Moore of Boaz, AL; sixteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mary Lambert; a sister, Louise Oliver; a brother, Carl Lambert; and her father-in-law, Reid Hamm, Sr.
