Ruth Pendergrast, 83, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. Mrs. Pendergrast was a long-time member of the Burnsville Tabernacle, and was a homemaker. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, at Burnsville Tabernacle. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, at Burnsville Tabernacle, officiated by Bro. Jack Whitley and Bro. Mitchell McNeese. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Pallbearers include Danny Reed, David Reed, Justin Trickey, Charles Benick, Keith Willford, and Greg McAnally. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Harvey Pendergrast of Burnsville; two sons, Charles E. Dotson and Jimmy R. Dotson, both of Corinth; one daughter, Lisa R. Smith of Glen; one brother, Billy Spoon of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Cade Smith, Caleb Smith, Gent Dotson, Robert Dotson, Patricia Dotson, and Charles Dotson, III; and several great-grandchildren.
