Carley Ray Ross, 88, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Monday, January 13, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Ross was a member of Rowland Mills Baptist Church, and was retired from J. C. Jourdan Lumber Co. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. Visitation is scheduled 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Rowland Mills Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jonathan Owens, Alan Nash, Ross Nash, Joey Boren, Donnie Calton, and Virgil Rhodes. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Della Ross of Burnsville, MS; two sons, Larry Ross (Yvonne) of Counce, TN, and Scotty Ross (Wanda) of Rienzi, MS; one daughter, Brenda Sue Lindsey (Dwight) of Burnsville, MS; one brother, Edward Ross (Elaine) of Chattanooga, TN; three sisters, Bernice Grissom of Corinth, MS, Bonnie Ritter of Groveland, FL, and Launa Bingham of Burnsville, MS; four grandchildren, Tracie Nash (Alan), Candy Owens (Jonathan), Andrea Boren (Joey), and Becky Wilburn (B.J.); eight great-grandchildren, Ross Nash, Kalee Nash, Jathan Owens, J. J. Boren, Tucker Boren, Aidan Wilburn, Zoey Wilburn, and Kylee Wilburn; one step great grandchild, Kayla Owens; and one step-great-great-grandchild, Bentley Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carley C. and Elsie Riley Ross; two sisters, Emma Lou Ross and Loula Lovelace; and two brothers, Elvis Ross and Lyndon Ross.
