Wanda Louise Floyd McKee, 90, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Friday, January 3, 2014, at Whitfield Nursing Home in Corinth. Mrs. McKee was born October 23, 1923, in Burnsville, MS. She was a member of Burnsville Baptist Church, and was a cosmetologist for thirty-five years. Mrs. McKee loved and took great care of her animals. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Charles Lambert. Interment will follow in White Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Cate, Andrew Cate, Darrell Moon, and J. C. Hall. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one son, John Cate, Jr. (Lynda) of Corinth, MS; two daughters, Martha Rea of Tuscumbia, AL, and Mary Hall (J. C.) of Rienzi, MS; one sister, Annie Mae Bishop of Jackson, MS; three grandchildren, Ronda Moon, Chris Cate, and Michelle McGuire; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul McKee; her parents, Allen and Ruth Elledge Floyd; a sister, Marie Ramsey; and two grandchildren, Gina Rea and John Cate, III.
