Ruthie Julen, 72, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Sunday, December 8, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Burnsville. She loved her family and grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Tuesday, December 10 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Briggs King and Bro. Jimmy Rich. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Pallbearers include William Julen, Jessie Julen, George Julen, Michael Smith, Joey Bane, and Gene Gober. Honorary bearers will Jonathan Bonds, Jimmy Stephens, Matt Goddard, and Billy White. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Harold Julen (Ellen) and Sanford Julen, both of Burnsville; 1 daughter – Angie Gober (Gene) of Iuka; 2 brothers – Burt Borden (Sue) and Billy Joe Borden (Peggy), both of Iuka; 2 sisters – Barbara Johnson and Lilah Francis “Sis” Borden, both of Iuka; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roy Julen; her parents, Tifford and Mattie Borden; her brother, J.T. Borden; and her daughter in law, Karen Julen.
