Tony Joe Taylor

Tony Joe Taylor, 47, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mr. Taylor was a member of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. He worked in the construction industry hanging drywall and building docks. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, October 14, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Mike Edwards. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mickey Spoon, Jeremy Spoon, Kevin Spoon, Timothy Spoon, Chris Davis, and Ryan Taylor. Johnny Taylor will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Jerri Taylor of Burnsville, MS; his father, Billy Joe Taylor of Burnsville, MS; two sons, T. J. Taylor and Robbie Wright, both of Burnsville, MS; two daughters, Kayla Waldrop (Jordan) of Iuka, MS, and Anna Robbins (Rusty) of New Albany, MS; and four grandchildren, Aubree Waldrop, Camryn Robbins, Easton Robbins, and Nolan Robbins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Jean Spoon Taylor; and a brother, Eddie Joe Taylor.
