Ruth McDuffy, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, September 29, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, singing, taking care of her flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Monday, September 30 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2013,at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Bro. Malcolm Garrett and John Hardwick. Interment will follow in Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Eli McDuffy, Brandon McDuffy, Jacob McDuffy, Johnny McDuffy, Jeremy McDuffy, and Brien Sharp. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Hershel McDuffy of Iuka; 2 sons – Malcolm McDuffy (Rhonda) and Jeff McDuffy (Jackie), both of Iuka; 1 daughter – Nellie Bugg (Dorvell) of Iuka; 4 brothers – Jerel Keele, Lowell Keele, David Keele, and Denvil Keele, all of Iuka; 3 sisters – Merle Faulkner, Nina Keele, and Doris Luttrell, all of Iuka; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Mable Keele; her son, Dennis McDuffy; her brother, Tim Keele; three sisters, Linda Keele, Brenda Cagle, and Rachel Keele; and her grandson, Justin McDuffy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund.
