Edith Byrom, 94, of Chattanooga, TN (formerly of Iuka, MS), died September 5, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She enjoyed playing the piano, and played it every day. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 7 PM on Sunday, September 8 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, September 9, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Ron Plymel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Greg Byrom (Abbie) of Ooltewah, TN; 2 brothers – Dean Cruce of Chattanooga, TN and Ferdy Cruce of Florence, AL; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon “Pete” Byrom; her daughter, Sally Cruce Byrom; and her son, Eddie Byrom. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church Fund at 105 W. Eastport Street, Iuka, MS 38852.
