Billy Joe Luttrell, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, talking, spending time with family and friends, and taking care of Shasta and his goldfish pond. He also enjoyed music and dancing at the fairgrounds with the band “Just Plain Country”. Mt. Luttrell had made some wonderful friends at the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home during the past seven months. His employment included being a carpenter with O’Neil Bonds, working at the Yellow Creek Nuclear Plant, then retiring from Falcon in Belmont, MS. Visitation is scheduled for 4:30 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, June 27, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 28, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. William Lambert. Interment will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by two sons, Dennis Luttrell and David Luttrell (Deborah), and two daughters, Donna (Monty Lee) Watson and Terry (Marty) Stanford, all of Iuka; one brother, Norman Ham of Tuscumbia, AL; one sister, Bonnie Hester of Dothan, AL; ten grandchildren, Natalie Hill (Michael), Wesley Watson (Kayla), Courtney Stuart (Jamie), Rosemary Kelly (Brandon), Lane Luttrell, Lance Luttrell, Jeremy Luttrell, Joshua Luttrell, Jeremy Welch, and Leah Welch; six great-grandchildren, Hope Tidwell (Douglas), Jackson Stuart, Hunter Stuart, Will Lambert, Jordan Thornburg, and Hunter Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Faye Luttrell; his father, Clyde Luttrell; his mother and stepfather, Vera and Edgar Ham; and a sister, Helen Ham.
