Linda Goss, 70, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at her residence. She was born July 14, 1942 to Jim and Vera Bishop Adams. She enjoyed reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Friday, June 21, 2013, graveside at New Prospect Cemetery, officiated Bro. Fay Crowe and Bro. Gary Cleveland. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers include Marc McDougald, Josh McDougald, DeWayne Goss, Ricky Goss, Roger Barnes, and Jackie Pruitt. Honorary bearers are David Thornton and her grandsons. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Glynn Goss (Marilyn) of Iuka; 1 daughter – Lynn McDougald (Marc) of Enterprise, AL; 2 brothers – C.M. Adams of Iuka and Bobby Gerald Adams of Florence, AL; 5 grandchildren – Christina Goss Thornton (David) of Iuka; Chris Goss (Lisa) of Yankton, SD; Zachary McDougald (Cortney) of Fort Lewis, WA; and Josh and Jacob McDougald of Enterprise, AL; 6 great grandchildren – Abagail Thornton, Tayden Goss, Anessa and Breyton Nelson, Teagan McDougald, and Mazzy Owings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Goss; a sister, Nellie Ruth Parsons; and three brothers - Roy Neil, Dalton Wayne, and James Ray Adams.
