Dale Price, 71, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, as the result of an automobile accident. Mr. Price attended New Salem Baptist Church and was self-employed. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Burnsville Lodge #233 F&AM. He also served as the Tishomingo County First District Supervisor for sixteen years. Mr. Price enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, at New Salem Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14, at New Salem Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Ron Norvell. Interment will follow in Patrick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jimmy Robertson, Perry White, Pejoe Arnold, Drew Hardwick, Shane Price, Robert Price, Greg Royal, and Sam South. Honorary Pallbearers include Berlon Durham, Roger Durham, Leon Lambert, Bro. Jimmy Daniel, Travis Dean, Charlie Sheffield, Raymond Bullard, Harold Walters, and Pete Walker. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Shelia McDougal Price; one son, Joey Price and wife, Angie; one daughter, Bridget Gray and husband, Jerry; one sister, Shelaine Hardwick; and four grandchildren, Haley Price, Jonathan Price, Makenzie Gray, and Jackson Gray, all of Iuka, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Bernice Scruggs Price; and two brothers, Harold Price and Wayne Price.
