Mary Ethel Montgomery, 82, of Walnut, Mississippi, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a member of Community Pentecostal Church, and was retired from Reed Manufacturing. She was very faithful to her church, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Visitation is beginning at 5 PM on Tuesday, March 19 and continuing until service time on Wednesday, March 20 at Community Pentecostal Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Community Pentecostal Church in Walnut, officiated by Bro. Wayne Flake and Bro. David Basden. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Pallbearers include William David Brown, Darren Rich, Jason Roberts, Ronald Wilbanks, Johnny Hugh Wilbanks, and Pat Montgomery. Honorary bearers will be Jerry Allen Rich, Sammy Flake, and Phillip Flake. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Charles David Montgomery; 2 sons – Jerry Rich (Peggy) and Rev. James Rich (Barbara); 1 daughter – Vannessa Brown (David); 2 brothers – Bro. Wayne Flake (Sue) and J.G. Flake (Billie Sue); 4 grandchildren – Jerry Allen Rich, LeAnne Roberts (Jason), William David Brown (Stephanie), and Darren Rich; and 4 great grandchildren – Eli Brown, Cade Brown, Miley Roberts, and Jathan Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewing Rich; her parents, William and Wardie Flake; one son, William “Billy” Rich; her brothers – Bill, Roy, Thomas, and C.D.; and her sisters – Jewell, Sarah Clyde, Lettie, and Hermie.
