Billie Pruitt Gaston, 83, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, formerly of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Saint Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Gaston was a homemaker, and attended Cathedral Baptist Church in Jonesboro. AR. Visitation is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Sunday. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Lt. Col. Robert N. Armstrong. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Pallbearers include Claud Bull, Ronnie Nipp, Steve Oswalt, Tony Rhodes, Ken Coburn, John Joyner, and Rikk Legions. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Bailey (Richard) of Brownsville, TX, Brenda Nipp (Ronnie) of Brownsville, TX, Paula Hawkins (Jeff) of Gerrardstown, WV; and Diane Bull (Claud) of Jonesboro, AR; one brother, Sherman Pruitt (Marie) of Iuka, MS; twelve grandchildren, Mike Coburn, Ken Coburn, LeAnn Hughes, Tony Rhodes, Christy Moore, Elizabeth Joyner (John), Catherine Legions (Rikk), Michelle Bostick, Sid Person (Casey), Kristin Oswalt (Steve), Matt Bull (Brooke), and Sarah Glomski (Adam); and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wray Gaston; a son, Rodney Rutherford; a granddaughter, April Person; and a great-grandson, Alex Bostick.
