Janet Louise Farris, 60, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Ms. Farris was of the Baptist faith, and was a graduate of Mississippi State University. She was retired from F.D.I.C. where she worked for thirty-three years as a bank examiner. She enjoyed reading, cross stitching, and shopping. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Charles McGill. Interment will follow in Tishomingo Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home in Saturday. Pallbearers include Gene Austin, Tommy Pounders, Dustin Wilson, Mike Wilson, Ben Tigner, and Billy Messner. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one brother, Jason Farris of Tishomingo, MS; two sisters, Lori Horne and husband, Marvin, of Iuka, MS, and Cynthia Seago and husband, Ben, of Muscle Shoals, AL; one nephew, John Horne of Iuka, MS; and one niece, Jennifer Seago of Florence, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Louise Williams Farris.
