Tim Allen Wilemon, 63, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Tim was a former tugboat deckhand, a former radio dispatcher and always a fighter. At age 19, he survived crashing his Dodge Coronet into a ravine on Highway 72 - an accident that left him paralyzed and put him in a coma that would last for 45 days. He won a handicapped achievement award from the Tennessee Valley Authority for his service as a base station operator during the site preparation for the Yellow Creek Nuclear Plant. Tim loved watching Western movies, petting dogs and laughing with friends. He attended Hubbard Salem Church. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 31, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 1, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Joe Hardwick and Bro. Mitchell McNeese. Interment will follow in Hubbard Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers include Charles Hardwick, Larry Hardwick, Kenny Morgan, Randy Wilemon, Ronnie Thompson, and Kenny Thompson.
