Clinton C. Wood

Clinton C. Wood, 88, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Sunday, October 21, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Wood was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tony Curtis. Interment will follow in South Crossroads Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nellie Wood of Tishomingo, MS; one son, Danny Wood and wife, Charlotte, of Iuka, MS; two daughters, Pat Oliver and husband, James, of Cherokee, AL; and Brenda Sellers of Iuka, MS; one brother, Lawrence Wood and wife, Margaret, of Iuka, MS; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Wood; two sisters, Ruby Carlisle and Bertha Odle; a brother, Leonard Wood; and a son-in-law, Charles Sellers. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Crossroads Cemetery Fund.
