Ruth Rutledge, 83, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church, and was retired from Genesco after many years of service. She enjoyed crocheting. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Thursday, October 11 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. Services will be officiated by Rev. J.B. Burns and Rev. Bobby Hankins. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeremy Greene, Casey Lott, Brian Moore, Gary Trussell, Jeff Daniel, Harry Bowman, Tim Wigginton, and Mike Wallace. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors 2 daughters – Debbie Trussell (Jimmy) of Tishomingo and Diane Greene (Jerry) of Denton, TX; 1 brother - Billy “Pop” Daniel (Jackie) of Iuka 4 grandchildren – Shelly Pershing (Dan), Jeremy Greene (Brooke), Amanda Lott (Casey), Amy Moore (Brian); 7 great grandchildren – Reese and Meg Moore, Cade and Cohen Lott, Emery and Everett Greene, and Reese Pershing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Rutledge, Jr.; her parents, Shelby and Effie Lou Burns Daniel; her sister, Montez Edmondson; and 2 brothers, Roy and Sam Daniel.
