Jean Rutherford, 82, of Iuka, Mississippi, died October 7, 2012, at the Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. She was a member of Fifth Street Baptist Church, and was a military wife for many years. She loved being outdoors, tending to her flowers, and working in her yard. Visitation is scheduled for 10 until 11 AM on Wednesday, October 10 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Greg Woodruff. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 3 daughters – Wanda Martin (Ed) of Enterprise, AL; Linda Pittman (Tim) of Dennis, MS; and Jaeni Rutherford of Iuka; 2 sons – Carl David Rutherford (Connie) of Copperas Cove, TX; and John Rutherford (Karen) of Mantachie, MS; 1 sister – Hazel Wilson of Tuscumbia, AL; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Carl Rutherford; her parents, Grover and Emma Beard; and several brothers and sisters.
