Janie Bullard

Shirley Jane “Janie” Bullard, 75, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mrs. Bullard was a member of Fairview Community Church. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 3, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church beginning at noon on Tuesday. Services will be officiated by Bro. Malcolm Garrett and Bro. Russell Clouse. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Parrish, Chris Seaton, James McMeans, Jason McMeans, Mark Hinton, and Kevin Hinton. Honorary Pallbearers include Claude Hinton, James Morris, Bruce Glidewell, Lon Taylor, and Dr. Joe Weems. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bobby Bullard of Iuka, MS; one son, Darrell Bullard of Iuka, MS; one sister, Otha Parrish of Iuka, MS; and one grandson, Gauge Cameron Bullard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Mary Morris Meeks; a sister, LeOpal McMeans; and a brother, Talmadge Meeks.
