Mildred Brown

Mildred Brown, 80, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. Mrs. Brown was a member of Mission Lighthouse Church. She retired from the Iuka Shirt Factory following over forty years of employment, and enjoyed gardening, baking, and working outside in her yard. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. John Gwatney. Interment will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Bullard, Danny Bullard, Dennis Wingo, Stanley Williams, Tom Johnson, and Chuck Bullard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one brother, Luther “Junior” Bullard of Iuka, MS; one sister, Christine Johnson of Iuka, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. “Bud” Brown; and a brother, Charles Bullard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Snowdown Cemetery Fund.
