Greg Dawson, 51, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at his residence. He was an avid Ole Miss fan, and enjoyed traveling, fishing, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Monday, July 9 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Phil Dawson. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Nick Dawson, Jacob Dawson, Bud Dotson, Alan Lyles, Jon Nunley, Lynn Parson, and Joey M. Cobb. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kay Dawson of Iuka; 2 sons – Drew Dawson (Whitney) of Iuka and Blake Dawson (Julie) of Booneville; 2 brothers – Gary Dawson and Phil Dawson (Rhonda), both of Iuka; 2 grandchildren – Mackenzie and Ryeder Dawson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Peggy Dawson. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Baptist Church or to the donor’s choice.
