Joan Marie Hudson, 57, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and a former cosmetologist. She had also managed several local restaurants. She enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitching. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. John Shamblin. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Kilpatrick, Sr., Brian Kilpatrick, Jr., Harold Thomas, Jr., Chris Berryman, Ed Minyard, and Terry Minyard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include two sons, William Joseph “Pee Wee” Bolton, Jr. of Iuka, MS, and David Lee Johnson, Jr. of Corinth, MS; four brothers, George Hudson, Steve Hudson, and Jerry Hudson, all of Iuka, MS, and Ellis Ray Hudson of Chicago, IL; four sisters, Joyce Riley, Shirley Nunley, Mary Lynn Thomas, and Jimmie Mae McDonald, all of Iuka, MS; and one grandchild, David Lee “D. J.” Johnson, III of Corinth, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randy and Madge Pate Hudson; a brother, David Earl “Buddy” Hudson; and a sister, Linda Sue Hainey.
