Dorothy JoAnn Tucker, 82, of Iuka, MS (formerly of Memphis, TN), died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at her residence. She enjoyed crocheting, and making lap throws for the Disabled American Veterans. She was Native American, and was of Cherokee and Choctaw descent. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Freedom Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Bobby Elliott. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Leon Tucker of Brunswick, GA and Bill Tucker of Horn Lake, MS; 3 daughters – Sheryl Perkins of Horn Lake, MS; Vicki Danford of Southaven, MS; and DiAnn Grady of Memphis, TN; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Tucker; her mother, Nola Gray; her stepfather, Clifford Gray; her brother, Charles Smith; her grandchild, Michael DeClue; and her son in law, Arthur William Danford.
