Nancy Daugherty

Nancy Elizabeth Daugherty, 82, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of the Iuka Baptist Church. She was the owner and operator of Daugherty Refrigeration and Daugherty Rentals, and was retired from Genesco. She was a long-time member of the Twentieth Century Club, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Ben McAnally. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Harold Lomenick, Joey Cobb, Todd Williams, Bryan Robinson, Larry Cutshall, and Keith McNeely. Honorary Pallbearers include the Ladies of the Twentieth Century Club of Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one son, James D. “Butch” Daugherty of Iuka, MS; one daughter, Dennie McRee and husband, Mike, of Iuka, MS; one son-in-law, Dale Tapp of Iuka, MS; one brother, Win Riley of Lisbon, MD; one sister, Dinah Riley Huffman of Poplarville, MS; six grandchildren, Derrick Tapp and wife, Nikki, Glenn Earl Tapp, Jon Tapp and wife, Melonie, Nick Tapp, Chris “Chunk” Daugherty and wife, Kelie, and Chad Daugherty, all of Iuka, MS; and 3 great-grandchildren, Coby Tapp, Avery Tapp, and Cooper Tapp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Daugherty; a daughter, Edna Tapp; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Daugherty; her father, Irvin Riley; her mother, Billie Yarber Pressgrove; and a brother, Wilburn Riley.
