Hollace J. Smith, 88, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Saturday, March 03, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center - Iuka. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, and was an U.S. Army veteran of WWII where he received a Bronze Star. He was retired from Bellsouth out of Memphis, Tennessee. Visitation is scheduled for 6 until 8 PM on Monday, March 5 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at New Salem Baptist Church and will be officiated by Bro. Ron Norvell. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 sons – Mike Bennard (Lorraine) of Millington, TN and Chuck Bennard (Sue) of Brighton, TN; 1 daughter – Jeanie Campbell (Greg) of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers – Dennis Smith of North Carolina and Travis Smith (Maddie) of Memphis, TN; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
