Tab Shiota, 54, of Glen, Mississippi, died Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was a member of Glendale Baptist Church, and was a U. S. Army veteran with 17 years of service. He formerly worked in automobile sales in the Corinth area. He enjoyed photography and journalism, and was a firearms enthusiast. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 29, at Cutshall Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Bro. Alvin Meeks and Bro. Brandon Powell. Interment will follow in Corinth National Cemetery with military honors. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Holley Shiota of Glen, MS; a brother, Van Shiota of Lodi, CA; and a cousin, Barbi Gyda of Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mitsuko Shiota.
