Ruth Joan Moore

Ruth Joan Moore, 71, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Spirit and Truth Christian Fellowship, and was a former factory worker. She loved her church, and enjoyed watching her grandson play baseball. She also enjoyed reading and watching TV game shows. Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, at Spirit and Truth Christian Fellowship. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Sunday, February 26, at Spirit and Truth Christian Fellowship, officiated by Bro. Tony Blakney and Bro. Jim Thornton. Interment will follow in Spirit and Truth Cemetery. Pallbearers include Johnny McDuffy, Dustin Mooney, Jacob McDuffy, Kaleb Mitchell, Hunter Lambert, Cory Willis, and Craig Bain. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son, Wayne Moore and friend, Angela Jourdan, of Tupelo, MS; 2 daughters, Kathie Norman and husband, Rusty, of Iuka, MS, and Debbie Willis and husband, Mark of Burnsville, MS; 1 brother, Bert Gibson of Red Jacket, WV; 2 sisters, Neville Skinner of Iuka, MS, and Fern Alsup of Murfreesboro, TN; and 2 grandchildren, Cory Willis of Burnsville, MS, and Devin Norman of Iuka, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Elsie Gibson; and 3 brothers, Wally, Winford, and Elmer Gibson.
