Nell Moore, 82, of Iuka, Mississippi, died February 16, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church, and was a long time Iuka resident. She was a sought after caregiver, and sat with many elderly people. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, and visiting her sister and nieces and nephews in Texas. Visitation is scheduled 5 until 8 PM on Friday, February 17 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. William Burcham and Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Pallbearers include Justin Parsons, Kris Lange, Logan Vaughn, Kerry Milligan, John Davis Murphy, Frank Tompkins, and Billy Terry. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – Walter Vaughn (Patty) of Iuka; 1 daughter – Alisa Parsons (Terry) of Iuka; 1 step daughter – Linda Carson (Charles) of Corinth; 1 brother – Jim Goss of Iuka; 4 grandchildren – Karisha Devlin (Dan), Logan Vaughn (Kristina), Brigitte Lange (Kris), and Justin Parsons; 2 step grandchildren – Stacy Sitton (Scott) and Chris Carson; 2 great grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband’s Milford Moore and Roy Vaughn; her grandson, SGT Jason Walter Vaughn; her parents; and two brothers and one sister. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home Christmas Fund at 230 Kaki Street, Iuka, MS 38852.
