Jeanette C. Mann, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at her residence. She was a member of Iuka Baptist Church, and was a member of her state championship basketball team in high school. She was the executive director of the Iuka Housing Authority, and was a board member of Tishomingo County Schools and the Midway-Pleasant Hill Water Association for many years. She enjoyed antiques, raising poodles, and spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Thursday, February 16 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Friday, February 17, 2012, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Stanley Magill, Bro. Tim Dixon, and Bro. Tony Curtis. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include John Derek Mann, Jesse Bryson Mann, Drew Hardwick, John-Grady Taylor, Chad Braxton Howell, and Brad Braxton Howell. Honorary bearers will be Dr. Ben Kitchens, Dr. Jerry Stone, Dr. Jim Perkins, Don McNeely, and Buddy James. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 3 daughters – Debra M. LeMay (Bill); Cheryl Howell; and Emily Wooten; all of Iuka; 1 son – John Mann (Reda) of Iuka; 7 grandchildren – Erica Taylor (John-Grady); John Derek Mann; Carrie Clark LeMay; Samantha Mann Hardwick (Drew); Jesse Bryson Mann (Samantha); Chad Braxton Howell; and Brad Braxton Howell; and 3 great grandchildren – Claire-Mann Taylor, Cela-Catheryn Taylor, and Hallie Grace Mann. She was preceded in death by her husband she married in 1950, Brison Mann; her parents, J.U. and Emma Clark; her son in law, Bobby Howell; 8 sisters and 5 brothers; and his granddaughter, Mary Ashley Dancoe. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iuka Baptist Church Fund; the American Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org; or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
