Robert A. Middleton, Sr.

Robert Aubrey Middleton, Sr., 69, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Sunday, January 29, 2012, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. He was an active member of Rocky Springs United Methodist Church and a retired construction engineer. He loved Mississippi State football and was a member of the Bulldog Club. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Robert Armstrong and Andrew Rogers. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday. Pallbearers include Charles Carson, Sam Tull, Sam Kemp, W. T. Carson, Richard Atkins, and Keith Nichols. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Martha Middleton of Corinth, MS; his mother, Ruth Pittman Middleton of Winona, MS; 1 son, Robert Aubrey Middleton, Jr., and wife, Beth, of Birmingham, AL; 1 daughter, Deborah White of Knoxville, TN; 1 brother, James Harold Middleton of Winona, MS; 1 sister, Carol Middleton Richardson of Columbus, MS; and 4 grandchildren, Robert Aubrey Middleton, III, William Oliver Middleton, William Andrew Rogers, and Courtney Paige Rogers. He was preceded in death by his father, James Aubrey Middleton; and his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Carson.
