Myra Barnes, 58, of Iuka, Mississippi, died December 30, 2011, at her residence. She was a very active member of Harmony United Methodist Church, where she previously was a Sunday School teacher, and led the UMYF. She was a caring a dedicated registered nurse for many years, and truly cared about her patients. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Sunday, January 1 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Harmony United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. The services will be officiated by Bro. Rusty Fair and Rev. Ronnie Goodwin. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jonathan Davis, Bo Johnson, Clint Berry, Jay Glover, Jason Randolph, and Jackie Morris. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 daughter – Courtney Barnes Fair (Rusty) of Winona, MS; 1 son – Corey Barnes of Iuka; 1 sister – Kate Davis (Christopher) of Nashville, TN; 4 grandchildren – Callie Claire Barnes Kimbrell, Annsleigh Fair, Cole Fair, and Ella Kate Fair; and 1 nephew, Jonathan Davis of Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurchel and Joyce Daniel Robertson.
