Albert Lee Glover, 88, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed from this life on Thursday, December 29, 2011. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific along with his brother, John D. Glover. He retired from Intex Plastics and TVA. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved wildlife and the outdoors. He attended Burnsville Pentecostal Church. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, at Burnsville Pentecostal Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 31, graveside at Carpenter Cemetery, officiated by Bro. James Rich. Interment will follow in Carpenter Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be his step-sons. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Martha Glover of Iuka, MS; 1 son, Thurmon L. Glover of Counce, TN; 4 step-sons, Jackie Walrop (Sindy), Ronnie Waldrop (Renee), and Shonn Waldrop (Glenda) all of Burnsville, MS, and Tony Waldrop (Renda) of Glen, MS; 3 daughters, LeAnn Glover Rodgers and Bonnie Weathers (Benny) all of Iuka, MS, and Christy Lindsey (Tom) of Faulkner, MS; 1 brother, Billy Glover, Sr. (Katherine) of Iuka, MS; 2 sisters, Clara Cooper of Burnsville, MS, and Bonnie Ruth Tucker of Iuka, MS; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Crockett and Ivy Sanders Glover; a son, Kenneth Larry Glover; 2 brothers, John D. and D. C. Glover; and 2 sisters, Jewel Glover and Evelyn Gray.
