Eula Faye Wadkins Martin, 78, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, December 22, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center - Iuka. She was a homemaker, and a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, canning, baking, and taking care of her flowers. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Sunday, December 25 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, December 26, 2011, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dwight Wadkins, Dewayne Gentle, Jerry Wadkins, Jeff Wadkins, Billy Gene Harrell, and Glen Harrell. Honorary bearers will be Chris Lambert, Logan Comer, Charles Lambert, Marlon Harwood, and Barry Drewry. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son – James Martin of Iuka; 2 daughters – Joanie Lambert (Charles) and Celisa Harwood (Marlon), both of Iuka; 1 brother – Larry Wadkins (Vernell) of Iuka; 3 sisters – Catherine Gentle of Tishomingo; Nona Rich (Billy) of Cherokee, AL; and Lena Magaraci of Schaumburg, IL; 4 grandchildren – Mechele Drewry, Chris Lambert, Logan Comer, and Kaylee Comer; 4 great grandchildren – Krystyn and Kayde Lambert and Morgan and Meagan Drewry; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bro. James Earl Martin; her parents, Pete and Emma Wadkins; 6 brothers – Woodrow, Clinton, Milford, Donald, Hershel, and Talford Wadkins; 2 sisters – Celeste Tucker and Beatrice Harrell; and a granddaughter, Chastinie Nicole Comer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Evergreen Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
