Mary Magalene Whitehurst

Mary Magalene Whitehurst, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at her residence. She retired from Tishomingo Shoe Company after 32 years of employment. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22, graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 3 daughters, Kristi McGuff and husband, Denny, Donna Williams and husband, Floyd, and Patricia Bendall, all of Iuka, MS; 2 brothers, Lawrence Simpson of Iuka, MS, and Wayne Simpson of Savannah, TN; 3 grandchildren, Floyd Williams, Jr., Blake McGuff, and Camryn McGuff, all of Iuka, MS; 2 great-grandchildren, Diamond Williams and Madison Williams, both of Iuka, MS; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mable Simpson; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters.
