Edd McMeans, 93, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, December 4, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center - Iuka. He was an U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and was a member of Fairview Community Church for many years. He enjoyed watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday, December 6 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Fairview Community Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. It will be officiated by Bro. Jimmy Daniel and Bro. Dewey Smith. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers include Steve McGee, Seth McGee, Ronnie Joslin, Taylor Joslin, Ricky Davis, and Michael Joslin. Billy Coffman and Earl Hobbs will serve as honorary bearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Ruby McMeans of Iuka; and 1 sister – Ruby Garrison of Iuka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairview Cemetery Fund.
