Terry L. Rhodes

Terry L. Rhodes, 62, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired as an Assistant Division Engineer after 32 years with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and was a dedicated Mississippi State Bulldogs fan. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Jon Kaufman and Phillip Ogden. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Mike McRee, Larry Cutshall, Gary Verhoeven, Ken Cooley, Bradley Fuller, and Bennie Peterson. Honorary Pallbearers include Mark Hooker, Cliff Daniel, Dave Bushey, and the members of the Little Rascals Golf Team. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Ingrid S. Rhodes of Iuka, MS; his mother, Doris Rhodes of Iuka, MS; 3 daughters, Nikki Tapp and husband, Derrick, of Iuka, MS, Callie Grimaldi and husband, Chris, of Villa Rica, GA, and Jamie Schad and husband, David, of Temple, GA; 2 brothers, Johnny Rhodes and wife, Joette, of Iuka, MS, and Davey Rhodes and wife, Kim, of Tuscumbia, AL; and 5 grandchildren, Coby Tapp, Mayci Grimaldi, Bradyn Grimaldi, Dallas Schad, and Jaxon Schad. He was preceded in death by his father, Palmer Rhodes; and his grandparents, John and Willie Mae Carson and Sam and Cyntha Rhodes.
