Odis L. Ferrell, 76, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Friday, November 4, 2011, at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a dedicated and very active member of the Tishomingo Baptist Church, where he served as Treasurer and on the Maintenance Committee for many years. He was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard. He retired from Genesco Shoe Company. He was also a volunteer at the Tishomingo County Food Depot. He enjoyed reading and gardening. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, at the Tishomingo Baptist Church. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to service time. The committal service will be held in the church. Services will be officiated by Bro. Todd Cecil and Bro. Bobby Cobb. Interment will follow in Tishomingo Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 1 brother, Harold Ferrell, and wife, Sarah, of Smyrna, TN; 2 sisters, Rosemary Pound of Pontotoc, MS, and Loretta Lambert and husband, Billy, of Iuka, MS; 3 nephews, Chuck Pound of Pontotoc, MS, Michael Lambert of Iuka, MS, and Ricky Lambert of Iuka, MS; 3 nieces, Christie Hensley of Pontotoc, MS, Candace Scruggs of Iuka, MS, and Kelly Ferrell Mosely of Smyrna, TN; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Bertha Ferrell; and a brother-in-law, Bill Pound. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tishomingo County Food Depot, P. O.
