Lois Cagle Clingan, 95, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at her residence. She worked for V.J. Elmore’s store for several years. She enjoyed sewing, painting, writing poems, and working with flowers. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Thursday, October 27 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Friday, October 28, 2011, graveside, and will be officiated by Bro. Greg Woodruff. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 daughters – Weytha Nunley (A.J.) of Iuka and Jackie Clingan of North Carolina; 1 sister – Hazel Holt of Iuka; 2 grandchildren – Carolyn Nunley King and Lane Nunley; and 1 great grandchild – Brett Kin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Adeline Cagle; her husband, Marvin H. Clingan; 5 sisters – Minnie, Edna, Flossie, Velma, and Gladys; and 5 brothers – Dempsey, Preston, Audie, Carl, and Glenford.
