Imogene W. Davis, 83, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She attended Harmony United Methodist Church. She retired from the J. Barry Finch Law Office where she worked as a secretary for many years. She enjoyed genealogy, camping, and quilting. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, at Harmony United Methodist Church. The body will lie in state at the church from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday. Services will be officiated by Rev. Ronnie Goodwin. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Pallbearers include Willie Whitaker, Wezley Whitaker, Zach Johnston, Matt Davis, Nick Davis, and Tommy Durham. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 son, Marty Davis and wife, Barbara, of Iuka, MS; 1 daughter, Sharon Davis of Iuka, MS; 5 grandchildren, Malakai Johnston, Zachary Johnson, and Amanda Johnston Mills, all of Memphis, TN, and Matthew Davis and Nick Davis, both of Iuka; and 5 great-grandchildren, Joey Johnston, Aurora Johnston, Ireland Johnston, Marissa Mills, and Danielle Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. L. “Dick” Davis; and a daughter, Teresa Johnston. Memorials may be made to Harmony United Methodist Church.
