Linda Sue Ross Brown, 65, of Rogersville, Alabama, formerly of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, October 9, 2011, at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She worked for 18 years as a medical transcriptionist and was the former owner and operator of Sheffield Florist and the Willow Tree Florist and Antique Shop in Athens, AL. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 10, graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery, officiated by Bro. David O’Connell. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ray Parker, Hayden Ables, Jimmy Nash Phillips, Roger Hollandsworth, and Neil Harwell. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Brown of Rogersville, AL; and 1 son, Joseph Ross Brown of Rogersville, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Minnie Simmons Ross; her grandparents, William and Ida Cole Simmons and William T. and Molly Scott Ross; and a brother, William J. Ross.
