Gladys Lovelace

Gladys Lovelace, 91, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, September 22, 2011, at her residence. She was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church and an avid reader. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Jon Kaufman. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jim Lovelace, Mark Lovelace, Tom Lovelace, Brian Lovelace, Ryan Lovelace, Jason Lovelace, Rusty Wolford, and Bobby Bonds. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 4 sons, Jim Lovelace (Annette) of Oak Brook, IL, Amos Lovelace (Nancy) of Winston Salem, NC, Tom Lovelace (Nancy) of Lindenhurst, IL, and Rick Lovelace (Judy) of Batavia, IL; 3 step-brothers, Gene Smith of Old Wayne, IL, Doc Smith of Nashville, TN, and David Smith of Madison, WI; 1 step-sister, Lily Pearl Smith of Waukegan, IL; 14 grandchildren, Jim Lovelace (Mary) of Hinsdale, IL, Mark Lovelace (Lucy) of Hinsdale, IL, Tom Lovelace (Lynette) of Hinsdale, IL, Brian Lovelace (Michelle) of Barrington, IL, Vanessa Heeg (Art) of Corona, CA, Eric Duele (Allison) of Elgin, IL, Robert Powell (Rebecca) of Winston Salem, NC, Jason Lovelace (Jill) of Western Springs, IL, Susanna Lovelace of Lombard, IL, John Lovelace (Cassie) of Orlando, FL, Jaimie Lovelace of Orlando, FL, Katie Lovelace of Orlando, FL, Justin Lovelace of Batavia, IL, and Ryan Lovelace of Batavia, IL; 24 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Lovelace; and a son, Bobby Joe Lovelace. Memorials may be made to the Iuka United Methodist Church.
