Norma Jean Taylor, 64, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Monday, August 29, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She enjoyed reading and talking with family on the telephone. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Mike Edwards. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeremy Spoon, Kevin Spoon, Timothy Spoon, Mickey Spoon, Robbie Wright, Chris Davis, and T. J. Taylor. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Taylor of Burnsville, MS; her mother, Lois Spoon of Burnsville, MS; 1 son, Tony Joe Taylor (Jerri) of Burnsville, MS; 4 brothers, Jerrel Spoon, Tommy Spoon (Shelia), Paul Spoon (Marie), and Carl Spoon, all of Burnsville, MS; 1 sister, Jane Davis (Mike) of Burnsville, MS; and 4 grandchildren, Anna Robbins (Rusty) of New Albany, MS, and Kayla Taylor, Robbie Wright, and T. J. Taylor, all of Burnsville, MS. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Spoon; and a son, Eddie Joe Taylor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Antioch Cemetery Fund.
