Lucille Counce Belue, 95, of Black Mountain, NC (formerly of Iuka, MS), died August 12, 2011, at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, NC. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Black Mountain, NC. She was the former city clerk and tax collector for the City of Iuka. She was an artist and a long time friend of Camp Crestridge for Girls in Ridgecrest, NC. Visitation is scheduled for 12 Noon until 1 PM on Monday, August 15 at Cutshall Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, August 15, 2011, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Stanley Magill. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 1 daughter – Janie Belue of Black Mountain, NC; 1 sister – Evelyn Jordan of Shiloh, TN; and 1 niece – Martha Kay Sowell (Ricky) of Shiloh, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alver Belue; her brother, John Dorman Counce; and her parents, Marvin and Effie Counce.
